Nanci
As CEO, Nanci works the “behind the scenes” magic. From interfacing with town executives, to retaining the proper counsel for a particular issues that needs to be counseled on, to searching out the best contractor for the job - she utilizes word-of-mouth, social media, and the internet to get the job done. Along with developing and implementing operational procedures and policies to ensure that Linemen Institute of the North East stays true to its founding principles in all aspects of its operation, Nanci works hard to keep our mission to educate and train the linemen of tomorrow as our top priority.
Journeyman Lineman & Instructor
John
John is 53 years old married with 3 kids and 3 grandchildren. He started his career at Metropolitan Transportation Authority as a power lineman 21 years ago. After about 7 years, he was promoted to a Foreman’s position and about 7 years after that, he was again promoted to Supervisor of overhead Lines on the H/H line’s and west of Hudson until April 2022. John finds being at L.I.N.E. is very rewarding and fulfilling because he is able to pass on the knowledge of the trade that he has learned over the years. To be able to be part of a team that is training future lineman is just beyond words, especially at Lineman Institute of the North East
Journeyman Lineman & Instructor
Matt
After graduating college with a degree in arboriculture, Matt spent 10 years as a certified arborist in the tree care industry. After being introduced to the trade by his father, Matt would spend the next 20 years of his career in this industry, 10 years as a lineman and 10 years as a working foreman. Teaching apprentice linemen on the job has always been a rewarding part of the job. After coming to L.I.N.E. to become a full time instructor, Matt realized how important it is for experienced linemen to pass on the experience and knowledge to the next generation of lineworkers.
